The notice was served on her and she responded through a lawyer in India stating that Indian jursdiction be applied and that me and my family have been cruel to her. (which is an absolute lie - there has been no complaint ever in this regard in the past five years). Since we got married, we have been working and living in Canada and annually visit our families in India for about 2-3 weeks and our parents visit us off and on. Since we have been living in Canada and have the intention of permanently livin...

Shopping: Do we have a Gerrard Street like in Mississauga?

The first time we landed in Toronto we had three restaurants in line at queen street under our apartment building, I ate day-night continuously for 10 days from them and loved looking at Bhuna hua corns being made, jalebis at Gerrard street, I think in our case the quote "Beggars are not choosers" suffixed. We'll surely check out the res...

...reciate your positive way of thinking. However, think of this. Most of the money might be spent on wedding location (a castle in Paris) as well as expensive caterers & designer clothes. So most of the money still remains in the upper strata of society e.g. fashion designers, cooks who serve the upper class. If you consider the entire "food chain", how much of this 60 million reach the lower level of society. Think of the amount of labour required in making say 300 dresses each of $30 worth versus amount of labour required for a $9000 designer dress May be, I am thinking too much from a socialist view point Meghal...
