Real Estate & Mortgages: High-rise condo in downtown vs Condo Townhouse in Mississauga
Started by: rajog on 09 Jun 2006
...Hi Rajog You will first need to determine your objective before you purchase a home. If the main objective is convenience, then by all means go for a high rise condo in the downtown area. Be advised though that in 200K, you will probably get something between 500-750 sq ft only. If you still prefer convenience and prefer to be on the subway line, then there are a few choices in the Don Mills/Shephard Don Mill/Eglinton area as ...

...elect. The expenses as said earlier u will need $10-12K per year only for tution. The other expenses depends on ur life style, Rent sharing a room with 3 person or a basement with 2 or 3 person say $200-300 per month, food $ 150, car not a need if u stay close to college and ur transport in public transit will be 100$ say around $ 550 -650 a month. It is true that visa students are not permitted to work, but u can work in ur own college or univ if u get a job and there are students who have managed to work outside it all depends on their contacts. The most imp[ortant thing is when u finish ur UG u cant apply for PR coz u wont have enough points, its better u finish ur UG in India get some...

Jobs: Is immigration to Canada really worth it??
Started by: Sam Jay on 16 Jul 2004
Dear Samjay: ...s, Banking background who is awaiting the PR from CHC. I do not regret my applying for PR. Canada is a land of opportunity with true Democracy unlike our banana republic with hypocracy. If you have the correct mind set with right attitude, you can succeed. Here the attitude counts a lot. As far any Indian Degree does not get recognised in Canada. CA from Canada is as difficult process as Indian one as you need to work for a Audit Firm etc. But you can do CPA from US which is valid & recognised in Canada. Regards, MP...

Sports: Will India win ICC Champions Trophy 2017...??
Started by: RBO on 30 May 2017
Indian batsman have a very poor track record abroad. They can't play on the swinging wickets of England or the bouncing wickets of South Africa/ Australia. So the pitches are a key and the overcast cloud or rainy moisture conditions are the key. Ball swings a lot under those conditions. If flat pitches are produced and India is chasing a total and you don't have cloudy conditions, India has a very good chance of winning. Indian fielding and bowling has improved a lot. Their fast bowlers like Yadav, Shami, B Kumar are quite good and can hold their own against other fast bowlers. Jadega and Ashwin also bowl well. What India is lacking is a genuine all rounder like Ben Stokes. N...

As for diapers, she is almost toilet trained and i hope to have her completely trained before we leave. As for ur sidenote, i really would have not have thought about it coz in India ppl will not even throw a second look at such an instance. My husband and I are now madly preparing for the trip and we have a hundred questions. I found this site...

General: Worth to go back after maternity leave
Started by: Anjuman on 04 Feb 2009
... Especailly in canada its tough to get the job. So please don't think about money as of now you have only kid, when you go for second then staying in home is worth for 2 kids. I feel kid will learn some activity in daycare, if my son is at home he always watches TV, which I won't recommend. Some kids will enjoy in day care some are not. So it depends on your kid, Try 1-2 months , if you feel good then continue if not leave the job and take care family. ...

...d to help you by putting 50% of the advertized price on some good cars but not even one response came in Kijiji. You can also try. In the end, try to save some of the insurance cost by cost cutting and earning by other legal means available to you. If I were in your position, I would shop at No Frill / Food Basics and only on the flyer items. COstco can give you free samples which will fill your stomach on a sunday afternoon. Besides their French fries / pizza / Hot dog is quite cheap. Upgrading your licence to the Highway license (May be known as G) will lower your insurance. Also see if you can join some engineering association and based on the membership get a discounted rate fro...

...I was reading the \"south indian food sucks\" entries which led to an interesting tangent on \"banning of indecent language for ids\" and at the end I was burning to say something. I tend to only speak about things here if I'm moved to passion. (is that word allowed?) The site was locked. You do that? Why? Seriously, is there a way for the person who locks something to put a little blurb up saying why? It was like hitting the end of the universe... bloink... I could hear the pebble I kicked off the edge in frustrati...
