May be it is a new rule and some officers at some offices don't know about the rule so they dont ask you to certify your license from your home country consulate....:D :D I didn't have to face such hassels of varification... And my Indian driving experience was also considered as a valid experience therefore I was able to go for G2 within 4 months of G1

   Ask a Pakistani Canadian: ...nship with Canada. Those folks should be able to tell what are the pros/cons. Being a dual citizen, u cant vote or have govt job in India (as if our vote counts). I think this is no different from the PIO card. Also it takes nearly a year to get the overseas indian citizenship certificate as the application has to go to New Delhi for approval. DIO

   ...It is very hard to get them on the phone but you have keep trying. I know it is very frustrating trying to contact the Indian Consulate in Toronto. They do reply to selected emails but it can take a few days. You can wait for a few more days. I am not sure how often UPS website gets updated with the tracking numbers. For Canadapost tracking numbers, it is probably around midnight each day since I would get the letter/package and only next day I would get email alert saying that it was delivered.

   ...No, They will ask for Indian Passport Stamps only in case of serious doubts as you will be completing 730 days in 5 year time. There is no Isuue . Do not worry. When you will come back to canada , they will just ask you how manydays out of canada & as you are going for few days only. there is no Problem. However, make sure that you return on time to complete your 730 days residency requirements.
