   ...nds in the US went to India via Paris and they were required to take a transit visa for France. They were not Permanent Residents of the US (no Green Card). They were in fact turned back on the day of the flight by Air France agents and had to re-schedule the flight for getting the visa. I would assume that the same rule might apply to Indian nationals in Canada who are not PRs.

   I'd renew....: ....... the passport. My brother was in a similar situation and had to get a new ppt in India (indian Citizen). IT's faster and easier to renew ppts here than in india so don't take a chance. WHen you trave in Feb, that puts you at the 6 month mark and in March you'll have less than 6 months which can pose an issue. If your son has a Canadian ppt, there's a chance that they may not allow him to leave Canada. CAll the ppt official to reconfirm. -B

Assuming you had Indian nationality before Canadian Citizenship and if you applied as a refugee from India, then it is not expected that you will apply for OCI/PIO - maybe that is the reason why you cannot find information on CGI website. Best option would be to make an appointment at the CGI - Toronto and see the High Commission to discuss your specific case. Good

   ...Right now the above stuff is fine, and she will travel hassle free and easily to India for 30 days. But in future when she goes for an OCI or a longer visa like 6 months or more. They might see that 30 day EVisa sticker on her Canadian PP and she travelled to India without cancelling her Indian PP. They might charge her penalties for that. So sooner or later they will try to get you and loot you. But don't worry about it for now, for the tine being and for this current 30 day visit she is fine. No hassle.

With so many jobs in urban cities like Delhi , Banglore , Pune , Mumbai etc ... lot of people from other cities or states are migrating here making these places hell !!! . However one of the jars did'nt have a cap and when asked the reason, it was said that it was from India and hence the crabs won't be able to come out as any of them climbs the top, others are there to drag it down and try to smash under their feet.    ...You need both. For PCC from India, you can apply at "Indian Consulate" near to your city. For FBI, get your finger prints done and apply. For Quebec, you may apply without police certificates showing a proof that you have applied. However, it will not help much to save the time but can delay the things. The advice is, at least get one certificate ( India or USA) and apply saying that the other one is in process.

   ...Have the rules changed for OCI? If marriage happened in India, I believe marriage certificate issued by competent authority in India was enough. I did search online but I find it mentioned only for reissue of Indian passport but could not find the need of attestation by MEA, New Delhi or Affidavit in lieu thereof mentioned for OCI.

Is there any preferencial treatment given to any licence by the Canadian authorities? If Omani licence then do you know if I can get the licence authenticated from their Mumbai embassy?    Malaysia: .... Beauty is taht it is integrated with the rain forested areas. 5. Sunway lagoon - Water sports area- some 10 kms from KL and within city limits. 6. Port Klang - Where you can see the sea. No great view and the sea is dirty. 7. Metro is a must to see. 8. Forgot the name but there is KL market where you can taste authetic food / restaurants. 9. You can rent a car and take a drive to the neighbouring villages. Once you leave KL, it will seems as if you are in a developing nation like India except for the roads and the cars.
