Our Native Country!: Another attack on Mumbai
 Started by: Ash20 on 26 Nov 2008
...The times is reporting 900 injured. Sensationalism? I have not seen those numbers anywhere http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/Terrorists_strike_Mumbai_80_dead_900_hurt/articleshow/3761410.cms And who are the deccan mujahideen? Never heard of them. Anyway they must be angry with India for all the Indian soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Or for all the 'oppression and powerplay over the oil'. Wait a minute! That was not India. Oh well must be some other reason...though most sheeple believe the main motivations of such acts are Iraq and Afghanistan. Apparently there are quite a few motivations.

In addition they have no protection against sickness, retirement or against calamities. In contrast, during the same 10 years the business and industrial community to whom our current Finance Minister literally belongs to, has gone from strength to strength. They have created only very small pockets of prosperity. The petrol prices are nothing...

All that i have merely done is loaned some money to resident Indian from my NRE account and will be getting that back, so looks like it is easy to repatriate that back even from an NRO account, if I can show the trail that it was originally paid out of my NRE account.

 Started by: 905Desi on 05 Jan 2009
...nts to adopt a kid:) wow... BTW, any idea on how it works to adopt a girl from India?[/quote] India has authorized agencies that you have to go through to complete the adoption process. Other than that, all other procedures remain the same. There are certain age and marital status requirements along with priorities to people of indian origin. The following link may help. http://www.wacap.org/International-india-adoptingfrom.asp
