   ...We visited a Hakka Indo Chinese restaurant last weekend after reading good reviews - It is Faley @ 42 Rexdale , Etobicoke .. They do have a branch @ Scarborough also . We are used to going at Wang's Mississauga but found the food here better spiced and reasonably priced with decent portions ... Though a small joint in an un assuming strip mall ( Rexdale / Islington ) , the place was full on a Sunday evening .... Our only peeve was that being vegetarians , there was non veg smell coming around .. possibly because the kitchen was close by or just because the restaurant is small ...    ...I was doing some research in Tai-pan tours as I was planning to go on one. I finally did not go on Tai-pan but went on my own with friends. My friend told me that the food is mainly chinese but hotels were very good. For montreal and other tours they mainly put the pax in Hilton. For Canadian tours they donot provide food but as you said they might be stopping at chinese restaurants which may not be a big problem for us. But I was hoping they would stop at some central place where you can get chinese as well as other stuff like McDonalds.

   Lahore Tikka House on Gerrard and Coxwell: ...They are open till 2AM if I remember correctly. I am veg so never tasted their chiken but my friend loves their non-veg food. But I love their veg food and kulfis. Taste is strong, just as in India but I love it! Try their whole wheat rotis and chana masala & also biryani. Biryani quantity is GOOD and so is the taste!

   ...WRONG The number of South Indian restaurants in GTA have multiplied in the last few years. I can tell you about Miss/Brampton. In 2005 the only S Ind rest i knew was Sarvanan bhavan. Now i know Sarvanan Bhavan Udipi House This one Gurulaxmi Dwarka Kwality (they have started dasas) all serving decent food and doing well. All of them have buffets either weekdays or weekends.. There are may more which i dont even know of, so i know they are thriving.

   ...Depend on the size of your home . If living in house Golden Retriever are the best . I have one ..Obedient , kids friendly.. Very easy to train ..But remember you have to keep monthly 250-300$ extra for their food, vet, insurance , grooming etc. Caution : If you are getting it bcs your kids want think twice before making a final decision . For them its like a toy they wont care after a month and then you have to take care of all the chores , walking , food etc and by that you will be so emotionally attach to them you will don't want to leave.. But its fun!! All the best !!

On our first Cosmos Switzerland tour (that was way back in 1993), the food was mainly pork or beef. However, recently when I looked at the brochure they mentioned that there will be veg options. With COSMOS expect to start your tour at 8.00 to 8.30 in the morning. The dinner/supper will be at 7....

The place was clean although the seating arrangement was simple . Will visit them definitely on one of their weekend buffets which I believe is $7.95/- My top 3 S Indian picks in the west end are a.    ... u seem to be as one of King of Tandoor's benefactors, we went alcarte not the buffet as usual, called for a birayani (stale kind of i don't which region it represented anyway), called for tandoori ( dessicated chicken not succulent), customer service just like any other indian restaurant is not professional. normally we enjoy our leftovers from the restaurant, we had to throw away even though it hurts. my husband wanted to tell them off that their food sucks but I actually stopped him from doing that.
