Many people (not only Indians) are discussing the need to recognize foreign degrees & experience if Canada has to move ahead further. Doesn't America recognize foreign experience by getting people to work for them? Hope for the best & prepare for the worst. If that is being pessimistic, so be it. Thanks & regards. I can think of two options where Mr. Khan can help other desis also. 1) Canadian Desi web site should accept videos where he can upload his lessons and others can learn and response back. This will help others also who cannot come to Toronto. Mr. Khan can demonstrate how he himself is making money. 2) I can develop a web site which will allow what I mentioned above.

My friend speaks with a South Indian accent, does not put any make-up and yet she got a job and has changed 3 jobs since. She is extremely hardworking and very intelligent - for that matter. Call Center jobs are the easiest to get - considering there is very high turnover due to the highly competitive environment and shifts.

Citizenship: dual citizenship
Started by: roshah on 13 Feb 2006
No Dual Citizenship: ...HEllo! India does NOT offer dual citizenship. It only offers Overseas Citizenship of India or PIO card. SO once you take the Oath, your indian passport becomes null and void. Get a Canadian passport and apply for a visa, pio card or OCI if you want to visit India. TK

 Started by: rahul_singh23 on 15 Aug 2007
... Calculator: - Joe Hoop can afford a home worth $280,000 - Paying $1,700 a month in mortgage payments. Joe is paying $1700 a month for his house out of a net income of $3400 per month after tax...... The other $1700 goes to his car payment ($500) gas ($200) insurance ($100) food ($500) entertainment ($400) Credit card debt ($??).....no savings, no RRSP. - It sounds like anyone who owning the house around or above 300K-350K are making in 6 figures and any damm condo/house are in that price. There only 4% people who having earning more than 100K in Calgary as per tax filing in 2006.
...
