   ...Hello, I got my H1B stamped at the Toronto consulate on my Indian passport on Sept 2007.My H1B sticker is valid from Sep 2007 - Sep 2010 was sponsored by desi recruiter from MI. Mr Desi recruiter paid the H1 fee + attorney fee I decided not to use my H1B and have not entered the US as yet.I have had no communication with my desi recruiter ever since the stamping. How do I nullify the H1B that I am not using. Will the recruiter be notified by INS if I cancel my H1B at this time ? I am expecting to go for my Canadi

What i would advise newcomers it to seek accomoadtion which is max. 2 people per room and only 2 people sharing a washroom. I have seem some which comes for $450 for one incl. 2 times veg. If this is the case then no one will be willing to invest in India. Dollars can flow in to India and there is no way to get those back to Canada unless I pay double tax. There could be another option if the sale could be done in such a way that money is considered as a gift given to me. As far as I know there is no gift tax in Canada.

You may also look for international students of local community college, of Indian origin who usually work part time to earn extra bucks. I have seen most of the nearby grocery shops and restaurants employing them and paying cash wages. They will be happy if you pay 10 or 12 $ per hours for such work. It will only suits to the students living nearby.

U should move their and be happy wiht your people. IMO, once u come out of India, all are same. But we Indian born refuse to learn and bring all the inhibitions to the foreign land when we migrate.
