Mr Desi recruiter paid the H1 fee + attorney fee I decided not to use my H1B and have not entered the US as yet.I have had no communication with my desi recruiter ever since the stamping. How do I nullify the H1B that I am not using. Will the recruiter be notified by INS if I cancel my H1B at this time ? I am expecting to go for my Canadi

If this is the case then no one will be willing to invest in India. Dollars can flow in to India and there is no way to get those back to Canada unless I pay double tax. There could be another option if the sale could be done in such a way that money is considered as a gift given to me. As far as I know there is no gift tax in Canada.

U should move their and be happy wiht your people. IMO, once u come out of India, all are same. But we Indian born refuse to learn and bring all the inhibitions to the foreign land when we migrate. A good friend of mine, a kannadiga (from karnataka) bitterly complains abt. casteism in the community. That too done by old timers. So go figure! DIO
