Life: Canada or India?????

Will my children not regain the same culture that was and till now continue to be a part of me . Will they have to leave vegetarianism which is essential to me ? Will I have to do the same in my own lifetime ? Trying to answer these to myself and asking others if they also feel something similar. Why is it that I feel myself as an alien ...

Sports: Ajantha "Megnath" Mendis- The new spin sensation
 Started by: ramar2005 on 21 Aug 2008
...Thanks for your reply. It is normal to find Indian batsmen struggle against Mcgrath or Bret Lee, but was surprising to see them play a spinner like Mendis as if their one hand was tied behind. Again Mendis had taken these 50 wickets in about a fortnight's time both in tests and one dayers together. It is definitely too early, but cricket was getting heavily loaded against the bowlers, by doctoring the pitches to be flat and with usage of heavy bats. Even a mishit fetches a 4 or 6. The slow bowlers were afraid to bowl in ODIs or 20/20.

Much as I sympathise with what's happening, I don't see how Canada of all countries can do anything about it. Canada has almost no clout in world politics. Consider this: * Every MP in the Lok Sabha or the lower house of the Indian parliament under the age of 30 had inherited a seat. * More than two thirds of the 66 MPs aged 40 or under are hereditary MPs. * Every Congress MP under the age of 35 was a hereditary MP. * Nearly 40% of the 66 ministers who are members of the L...
