I myself (though I have a decent job) will find numerous opportunities in the states, but much more difficult here. I guess the main reason is there are many more professional Indians (with Indian degrees) working in the states. Here most of the initial immigrants were refugees and low-class labourers (many farmers), hence Canada is still warming up to the fact that S. Asian immigrants do have lots of intelligent professionals....

But Canadian one is good and can be received out side of Canada but taxes are withheld prior to payment. Can be applied and recovered with a submission of a tax return.
