A general presumption of Indians is that they live in slums, fabricate their degrees, have very low moral and social values and cannot be trusted. I was fortunate to have some skills which the employers could not find for many years here and found high paying jobs, but then again they want every drop of your blood for every cent you get. Filmi Gupshup: Anybody saw "Luck by Chance"

...f has given 3.5 stars to this movie, but I think 3 is good enough. The direction and acting are good, but it is the story that is a handicap. Infatuation of a common Indian with Bollywood has been time to time portrayed in movie starting from Kaagaz Ke Phool, Guddi, Abhimaan, Chala Murari Hero Banne, Sitara, Bollywood Calling, Main Madhuri Dixit... , Page 3 and now Luck by Chance. The movie has all the stereotypes - struggling actors/actresses, casting couch, superstitious producers, actors turned directors, gay reporters, magazine editors, dominating mothers of heroines, the selfishness-shallowness of Bollywood. Any good Indian grocery stores accessible from there? - Surrey is a good place for grocery stores but you will find a couple around If required, I may rent a car, but want to get used to the place first. - Come to the hotel first and then see if you require a car. You may or may not with Skytrain being there . Also, is $850 a reasonable monthly rent for a 1-br apt near metrotown on lougheed stations? - 800 would be fine but if the complex is really good , with secured entrance and lots of services tennis, sauna etc. , Then it would be a reasonable deal Once again when are you coming . Criticize the bad things that happen...........do not criticize only India and Indians since other nationalities have the same traits too. Don't say you want to find a true Indian, say you would like to do something to make Indians proud. Don't say what is bad about Indians, say what should be done to improve systems and problems in India. Hope your half, or full, or more than full brain will understand a simple thing like that.
