Life: What are the avg babysitting/child care costs in Toronto
Started by: texancanadian on 25 Mar 2005
...Costs depends on your Babysitting facility you are choosing. If it is home based "unprofessional" - $1 to $2 each hour, all food is yours If you go to professional and licensed ones - it is $800 to $1500 each month. These people also take care of food requirements of your child. My son goes in one of such facility, trust me these guys take care of child. Subsidy from Government - Forget it - If you have balance in bank they won't give you any subsidy

 Started by: kandukurik1 on 14 Feb 2004
...I am planning to migrate to canada soon from the US. Actually i am planning to open a grocery store with a To Go kinda food parcel. On a medium scale how much money would i need to invest. If i invest 50% are there any chances that goverment would help me with loan of about 50%/ Can you please guide me in this. I would also like to know if grocery store is a good business. I am particularly interested in Vancouver, the second choice would be toronto or alberta. Thanks friends

Visiting, Traveling and Picnicing: better Cruise line for vacation
 Started by: 7wonders on 23 Jun 2007
...I have been on a cruise with Royal Carribean. I liked it. Though, I have heard mixed messages about Carnival. Some people like Carnival because it docks in the port later so you can get up late and get more time in the port. Some people say Carnival does not have a good food. Entertainment and food is considered better in Royal carribean.

Life: Cost of Living

...Brampton is fast catching up with Mississauga and the rents are similar or a little lower but the transit system is not that great as that of Mississauga. However, Toronto in GTA is the best connected as far as transit is concerned and rents are similar. Markham is also an upcoming town where the rents are similar or more. However, transit there is also not as good as in Toronto and basically these communities are for those people who have mobility and are not very much dependent on transit.
