I guess this ties in to many other posts related to Indian accent...in the end, I don't believe this is a problem and as such not offensive at all. I mean, if the guy you are speaking to does not understand you and vice-versa, why not put each one out of their misery! But what I don't like about this is that "for an extra fee" part. WTF?

...of living in India (From Murali's perspectibe only): 1. JObs are available in plenty for professionals like Engineers / doctors 2. Stock market is booming. Secondary income. 3. Rising RE prices 4. Cheaper cost of living. 5. Standard of living has come up high. Lot of restaurants. I can eat Indian, korean, chinese, malaysian, American etc.. 6. Liquor is cheap. 7. Education is cheap. Maids in plenty. 8. Lot of time for girl friends. Now is 2014, girls and boys spend equally on each other. 9. Nice malls, movie theatres etc.. No use living the Canadian dream unless you land in a decent job within 6 months of landing. Otherwise a waste. IMHO. Murali The Krishna

When Modi said that he will usher in reforms, I believe him (knowing that he will get a majority and the bills will pass just like that). Yes. He got a majority but only in the LS. The bills got stuck in the RS. The land bill was withdrawn. One of the major comments (which is accepted even by BJP MP's) is that it is too industry friendly and against farmers.    ... Hi Lana Nice to see your post. Could you please share some information regarding ICICI account you have opened in India. 1. Is this account is NRI Demat account OR Normal 3-in-1 account for Resident Indians? 2. After coming to Canada, have you informed ICICI about NRI status OR just you are doing as Resdient Indian. This is information will be useful to CD's since most of the shares trading is happening on the net. Thanks. PMA.
Originally posted by lana2005 We had opened our account in India.
