Irrespective of their education, the behaviour of the parents who have programmed their kids to be robots is the same. I am puzzled with these folks.    Telpay.ca: ...Thanks for your reply. Actually I tried using cheque transfer, once directly to India and the other time to ICICI Bank's PO Box. Overseas cheque clearing takes over 21 days to process the money. Local cheque mailing took some10 days for my money to get deposited in Indian Bank (ICICI). I am now set with Telpay.ca which costs nothing to transfer the money from your desk to ICICI's Royal Bank Account and the total process takes about 3 days excluding holidays. The exchange rate of ICICI is not very good, but for smaller amount its ok. Take care, Arnab M

Outsourcing is good if they donot have client interface and all they got to do is back-office work.
Was there any sound of a pedal and a wheel in the background when you got t...

Our Native Country!: Iraq crisis

Aren't there other countries for them to go to work? They went on their own through agents and they need Indian govt support during crisis and to come back. What is wrong with these people? As if there are no jobs in India. The media was stupid enough not to ask qns regarding how they went to Iraq The nurses were claiming that they were not paid in the last couple of months and they had borrowed money from banks in India to go to Iraq. What an idea, sir ji! Someone on CD was planning to go to Iraq...

Any which ways, asking for job reservation is inviting racial discrimination back in a different way. Mr. Adhopia wud never have asked for preferential treatment because he was an Indian. He wud have just wanted to be treated without discrimination - period.
Jabhi bolo, ready to provide comic relief. Apun ne 8 posts likha hai bhai. Not 7. Where to settle: Is there Canada beyond Toronto?

There could be provinces where your skill is higly in demand and others provinces where your skill is not in demand at all or there is so much competition. Maybe it just happens that an Indian landing in Canada happens to know someone or other in or around Toronto and he chooses to land here. There are plenty of Punjabis in Vancouver and BC but they are not active on this site. It would much better to have representation from all the provinces so as to present a complete picture of Canada. ...

As a result, they ask you to get some "Canadian Experience"! snip I don't mean speaking with a Canadian accent, just speaking in a way that they can understand without using a Rosetta Stone guide :D
Spot on! A page on 'Indian English' on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indian_English Scrolling down the page, 'grammar and idiom usage' is an interesting read......
