May be Ramar 2005 could help us source molded products for industrial/residential use from India. Please think about this proposition. If we cannot beat them let us join them...

I moved to Toronto last year from New Delhi with an 80K per annum job and all relocation expenses paid for. Actually my Indian employer was able to find a role for me in Canada when I told them that I have a PR and I am moving. I realized later that having a good job in hand before landing is really a big deal and I just couldn’t believe my luck. I thought that not having to struggle and having a good job is a blessing for me only to realize later that it was actually a curse in disguise. Not realizing how uncertain the job market is in Canada I went ahead and bought...

Moving Soon: Transfer of Money from Dubai

Now I see there is a capital gain on my property. Once I sell it I have to pay taxes to the Indian government. I am also planning to transfer that money to Canada. I just want to confirm if I have to pay the tax to CRA also. If so then I don't think any investor will invest in India. I can carry dollars to India without paying any tax over there. Why can't I bring dollars in Canada on which I have already paid tax in India. I just want to confirm if th...

Jobs: Mechanical engineer - building construction experience
Started by: Hasni on 01 Jun 2015
FH is right: ... a HVAC Technician certificate. The two options that I said are good and decent paying ($ 20-$ 25 an hour to start with) provided you get the job which has a 0.01 % chance. Otherwise, cough up $ 1000 and follow HW36's advise. I know one Mechanical Submarine engineer from the Indian army do that course in 2002 and he has not looked back since. He started with $ 20 an hour and now is getting may be $ 60 an hour. All the best. Murali...

How to run the BJP is the bother of Amit Shah, totally unprofessional of Moody's junior analyst to dabble in the same. But here we have the entire Indian English News Media going berserk over the report and distorting to say as if it is Moody itself. We really have the question, is it by the English News Media itself, or just like in the case of Moody's, some Faraz Syeds working there....

I dont think most of the immigrants feel that way (i know i dont) , the transition is a change , i agree. But life goes on. I dont think these books are a reflection on the life of an immigrant. ...

I guess narrow-mindedness can only be bested by more narrow-mindedness. As well, an acute lack of abstract thinking may also hold back some from realizing that people who get the extremely rare chance of seeing our living breathing planet from outside of itself never quite look at borders the same way again. ...

Our Native Country!: India's strike ban

The Supreme Court ruled that such strikes hurt the economy, but trade unions feel that public sector employees will lose out as a result of the ruling, especially while key economic sectors are being privatised. For decades, a career in the Indian Government was synonymous with social security. And the right to strike was deemed inalienable. Strikes in the public sector were commonplace, sometimes with workers enforcing a complete shutdown. However, the Supreme Court's judgement could decisively alter that situation [/quote]  Complete Story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/3129515.stm...
