This as you can imagine has taken it’s toll on our system no doubt, not to mention tested the patience of our doctors and nurses who have had to deal with a lot...
Originally posted by viggy Ever heard of a lot of doctors vying for Immigration ?? They are quite comfortably practicing in India earning good money. Why would they come to Canada where the system does not recognize them - Yes they do go to US . Canada's system is unable to absorb the well qualified immigrants they take in and thats not due to competition eg : Canadian experience :)
...

If one is confident that they are on the right, the first thing to be done is to document and collect proofs for the same. ...

The main beneficiaries are expected to be those in remote areas who previously faced long journeys to larger towns and cities. "It is a dream come true for us," said villager Mushtaq Ahmed from Baramulla. "I have never seen a train in my life. I will try to be the first from my village to board one." The journey from Qazigund to Srinagar is a three-hour bus ride, but will take just 45 minutes by train.    ... time. They hold a 6 month Canadian visitor visa, and are flying Lufthansa (Hyderabad-Frankfurt-Toronto). Their stopover at Frankfurt is only for 5 hours and is not overnight. Also, they do not need to change terminals. The German Embassy website says that Indian citizens holding valid Canadian/US visas do not need a transit visa in Frnkfurt. But I have heard that they might ask for a transit visa. If anyone has been in this situation before, please do share your experience. Also, would the Transit Visa be issued upon arrival in Frankfurt? Or do they need to apply for the same in India? Thanks
It's best to check with both Lufthansa and a German Embassy/Consulate ...

Every resource listed in this booklet should be explored, to my surprise I found many new immigrants giving up too soon on the resources mentioned. The whole process from stepping out of aircraft to clearing customs took not more than 40 minutes. Outside the airport I w...
