...
Orginally posted by sunilosharma Yes, I am a proud Indian and have done all my graduationa and post graduation from India, MS University of Baroda. I think, PEO needs to assess the capabilities of candidates in real terms for P.Eng. apart from its routine academic qualifications. We all Indians (except some who may not agree becoz of some reasons) must admit that the way of working in India is absolutely opposite than the way people work in North America, especially in construction sector....

Ask Immigration Expert: Canadian immigration from U.S. C1D visa
Started by: krkrishna on 15 Jun 2004
Traveling to the US.: ...Hi. - This one relates to the US visit 1) Going to the USofA is relatively easy. All you need is a B1 / B2 visitor visa. (for Canadian residents holding Indian passports). Getting one (USD100) is not that formiddable if you can prove that you intend to go there as a visitor only. (show the US folks that you are employed here, have a residence here etc). If you hold a Canadian passport, you will need a TN visa to work there. (no visa required for visiting). 2) Be prepared for extensive interrogation at the US immi...

...West Indies of the 70s and 80s will be the best Cricket team in my opinion.
I couldn't agree more, jughead. Those guys reigned supreme. In addition, they were thorough gentlemen on and off the field. Think of Sir Gary Sobers, Clive Llyod, Viv Richards. Even the feary fast bowlers were very good folks. Even the more recent West Indian fast bowlers like Walsh and Ambrose were true gentlemen. The maximum "initimidation" that Ambrose would ever do is a glare with his red eyes across the wicket after a batsman had dared to play a shot - and that glare was enough to strike fear in the heart of any man. I have never heard him utter even one word on the field. These ...

Life: what is the different between canadian education and indian education
 Started by: jcp_toronto on 19 Nov 2009
...it of an education system? Who says Math and Science make one more educated, more open minded, more understanding and more knowledgeable? This is why discussions put up like this by the OP will ultimately turn back into India vs Canada debates that go no where. If you think Indian education is better, then simply go and get educated IN INDIA. If you think it is better in Canada, then study in Canada.
I knew that u will pop up. Sorry man, we should not study math/science and I wish if it can be stopped teaching in the schools so that our kids can live more comfortable life. ...

Our Native Country!: Study Abroad - India-The best place for study in world

On a one to one basis , comparing the better ones to the better ones , Indian education system as such may not be better than N American but it produces better results undoubtedly due to competition and the environment and the culture to study being prevalent in India . In Canada / US , one can survive easily by studying Humanities / music etc since resources are available for sustaining life ... Whereas in India , if you do that you will perhaps end up being a clerk / peon ... because of population pressure and the pressure of 'survival of the fittest ' ... I was once arguing with a person that IIT may no...

News and Events: Pakistani troops slit throats of two Indian soldiers

... of Drone attacks? Those attacks have wiped off Al queda and the best part is that these Drone attacks are ordered by Baap of liberals Obama. Whenever I read of Drone attack killing a beast, I lol because all the liberals including MMS (who cried and lost his sleep because some Indian terrorist was caught in Australia) cannot voice their criticism. MMS/Sonia would still invite in-laws of Daud and encourage cricket and open the borders and give away (almost did but for Modi and Mamta) land and water. It is a vote bank politics....
