You have to do lots of projects and that too in a group. In India the group you are going to join, was like you - totally indianized - we might have cast differences, but that is not a major concern. Here you are going to mix with all kind of people - gora, kala, pakistani, bangladesi, shree lankan, indian etc. There is nothing against them personally, but like any modern, but still orthodox parent it is difficult to adjust with any of them when it comes to marriage.  Started by: Surti on 05 Mar 2013

If Modi is going to be compromised even before he starts his innings, just the way we now see the new RBI Chief, how then is he going to see a super power India. The Indian Economy is often likened to a patient in the ICU. The black money and money stashed abroad is like a black mamba lying in bed along with the patient. When that be the case, all the economist pundits coming to TV studios and talking about the economy and about ways and means to revive the same is pure rubbish....

Arts and Culture: Concise Indian sex history
Started by: Vandematram on 18 Feb 2012
...e is inspired by the three poor gentlemen Lakshman Savadi, CC Patil and Krishna Palemar ,  who lost their ministerial jobs trying to sneak a quick peek at some porn while assembly was on. It’s not their fault at all – they were hard at work trying to figure out exactly how rave parties work.  Or maybe, I should just say they were hard….. at work. But actually my inspiration came from a totally different source. It was when Ravi Shastri called R Ashwin a compulsive hooker that I decided that there was a story that needed to be told.  It set off a train of thought that started in ancient India – and continued right up to my friends in the Karnataka assembly. And inspired.. Ba...

While we are on the subject of new trends in Bharata Natya, I would like to make a mention of a book published by Marg in January this year. It is a collection of essays and articles edited by the noted Indian dance scholar Dr. Sunil Kothari entitled New Directions in Indian Dance. If one goes through the book one will realize that basically there are no noteworthy differences in the way the art form is being practised or evolving here and that in India. Having said that I would like to add that all true artists lend an individuality to their chosen forms of art, and it ...

Atleast in Canada,a person without a job does not live in terrifying fear for not having healthcare coverage for the entire family ....in my initail days i had bought health coverage for myself and paid $300 per month just for mental satisfaction, never used a dime from it . A healthy family of 4 without job will spend about $1200 per month only for health coverage. If God forbid anyone in the family has any adverse medical history the premiums are only higher. in india , there are a handful of great hospitals but what is available to common masses. When we compare to that , i dont think Canadian system is ...
