Networking: Connecting Calcutta to Canada
Started by: Aditya Dey on 17 Dec 2005
Hello Everyone: ...obai ? I am a Bengali from Kolkata and currently living in Mississauga. According to many..Kolkata maynot be the best place in the world to live, but being a Bengali myself, the only place where I can be happy & satisfied, is my own land..my own kolkata! So my plan is to go back after 2-3 years. I lived in US for 7 years and came to Canada. By the time I go back to Kolkata permanently, it will be complete 10 years. I feel that it is not worth spending more than 10 years of lifetime outside India. I would definitely be interested in meeting and knowing other bengalis in and around Mississauga. :)

If they can kindly go through interenet in terms of the child abductions, pedophilia in and around mississauga in the last 3 to 4 years they would know what Charlie is talking about. Children are not safe. There have been cases where people have tried to lure and kidnap children from the sidewalk. Even if somebody known offers a ride, I woul...

Jobs: How to find people in Canada to work for me on profit sharing business ?
Started by: tamilkuravan on 06 Feb 2015
...I think the best plan is to recruit people who are already in India and going to come to Canada soon as Immigrants. Tell them when you come to Canada and don't get a job in your field and are on welfare & using food banks, please contact me again in India, when you reach Canada for this opportunity :)..they will be very grateful to you. Just go & stand outside any regional or agent office , where they are sending immigrants to Canada. Punjabis might be easy to recruit , lots of them come over here , but for that you will have to leave your beloved South...

...e political will to stand against China hence it is taking US side in this issue and following their directives. The political equation in India has to change with corporate India having more say in the running of the country than the vote bank politicians. The first scare now is that with Amar Singh out of SP, Sanjay Dutt has followed suite.    ... there is no such system here for a post Natal massage, so they do not have it in the RMT curriculum, nor are any RMT practisioners trained for this. Your best bet is to get it from an elderly lady in your family or your trusted friends, who know about it. Atleast the Mom can do it to the baby. In scarborough there have been some elderly Indian ladies who do it professionally for a small charge, but I have no contact information. Hiren

Our Native Country!: What is this nonsense about Sunita Willaims?
Started by: desi in ottawa on 21 Sep 2007
...Note that there are millions of Indians, by virtue of birth and domicile, who would rather be in the US or Canada or some other such country. What about them? Are they 'Indian'? Is the American/Italian working in India more 'Indian' than us because he is 'aiding' India's progress. How about a hot button? Why cannot sonia gandhi be the PM. She has been living in india, even dressing up like an Indian...calls herself an Indian etc. She is probably more indian than many of the posters (judging by their own yardstick). Sunita Williams may not be clear on what she thinks or feels (those feelings constantly being reevaluat...
