Food industry likes using trans fat because it increases the shelf life of products and oil becomes stable as it is converted to solid.    Indian consulate fees are fairly reasonable compared to other countries. To the person complaining, did u complain when u had to pay 1500$ canadian PR processing. Australia charges 6000$ per person for PR application processing.. I dont think the surrender certicate + oci cost of 500$ for indian PR is much.. Actually i like the improved efficiency with which the indian consulates and passport services are functioning ,i am sure a lot of the money is going towards supporting these improvements.
