Started by: Cherry on 27 Aug 2007
...Hi I would appriciate if any CD's could suggest / recommed a good Indian ( veg or non veg) restaurant in and around Scarborough or even Markham area for celebrating a Birthday party. We were thinking of a place with a medium size hall. I know places like Anjappar Chettinad and Sarvana Bhawan but both these are mainly south indian cuisine. I am looking for North Indian Cuisine. Thanks Cherry

License: ...As far as I know, the Indian License is not exchangeable for Canadian License, but you can use the Indian driving experience to get exemption for the 12 months waiting period to give a road test. I had taken the G2 recently. If your Indian license is in native language and English and it has issue date (I think you need 4 years) the letter from RTO is not necessary(as in my case). You have to make the G1 written test and then you can book to give a G2 road test. With G2, yes you can drive all over Canada , even on high ways.

General: where can i buy/get cardboard cartons?
Started by: amitcr on 27 Jun 2006
...Any store selling stationery items should have them like Staples, etc. Also post offices have them. Some are available free at grocery stores like Food Basics, etc, but may or may not be suitable for your purpose.
