What is World Partnership Walk?

The World Partnership Walk is a national annual event started in Vancouver in 1985, and is now held in nine cities across Canada. The Walk is designed to increase public awareness about global poverty and to raise funds that support poverty reduction programs in Asia and Africa.

Why should I participate?

By participating in the World Partnership Walk you can help AKFC continue its commitment to dozens of poor communities in Asia and Africa where simple, yet innovative, initiatives are targeting basic needs while empowering citizens. The World Partnership Walk is the only national, grass-roots event that allows you to contribute directly to programs that give poor communities a chance to become self-sufficient.

Still not sure if the Walk is for you? Everyone has their own reasons for walking. Read what others have to say.(http://www.worldpartnershipwalk.com/content/view/168/168/)

Check out the website below to get details in each of the 9 Canadian cities where the walk is taking place. Come and have fun while helping others around the world.
