CEO Profile:
Steve Gupta, President and CEO of Easton's Group of Hotels Inc. & Easton's Group of Companies.
Mr. Steve Gupta, currently owns and manages 10 hotels, comprising over 1500 suites valued at over $280 million, and another $150 million in current construction projects underway. Mr. Gupta has constructed and opened a new hotel every year since 2004, and his pace of development is increasing. He has opened three new hotels in 2009, one in May 2010 and another three currently under construction.
Mr. Gupta was the recipient of the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Ontario in the category of "Hotels & Real Estates" for the year 2005. The Markham Board of Trade Awarded Mr. Gupta with the 2004 Business Excellence Award for Entrepreneurship in October 2004. |
