I was wondering if family of 3 traveling together take travel insurance for one person. In case of baggage loss, claim can be put thru that single policy. Save in money and purpose of Insurance taken care of. Any suggestions.

I don't know. Person in travel profession can tell us. I would go and handover bunch of tickets and check in luggage together. Never cared to see how they put luggage on ticket or just checked beside range of tickets we hand over to airlines. This is a brain storm session to save couple of bucks while traveling to India.
