1. What is the benefit of bringing old driving license for car from India?
2. Should it be at least 2 years old?
3. Should it be for car or even motorcycle license will do? I want to apply for car license in Canada.

you can directly appear for written exam, get G1 class license, get one road test for G class or several tests for G2

Car
It only proves that you drove a car earlier, so you don't have to wait for 12 months to get G2 Licence. Second it also saves few dollars (I think $40).
If you have driving license of 2 or more years you can give G directly.
Motorcycle license will not do - but there are smart people using it too. Ask your friends how to use it

i dont think u save $40.
sooner or later u have to pay it!
ya but at the time of G1 written u dont need to pay but while road test..u will pay that!!
