Could you please let me know what’s happen if leave without getting PR card? is it possible that my friend living in Canada can post the pr card to India after i leave? or is there any alternate way?
thanks for your help

Your PR card will be posted to the address you notified. It typically takes 4-6 weeks, but depending upon their workload could take a little longer/ shorter time. You will require it to enter Canada by a commercial carrier (eg. airline), you will not require it if you are driving into Canada from the US. Your friend can send it to you if he has access to your mails, however there ARE instances where they may want you to come down and meet them in person for whatever reason. In that case if you are out of the country, you would obviously not be able to meet them. SAFEST course is to try and extend your leave by a couple of weeks and hopefully the card should arrive.
