Hi. I need one of our CD experts to guide me, please. I am a Canadian PR living in Canada. My sister is a U.S. Citizen living in USA. Our parents are in India. We are the only children they have. We want them to come and live with either of us.
My question: Out of the two us, i.e. me and my sister, who should apply for their immigration? Which one would be faster in terms of processing times? USA or Canada?
My Father is 60, Mother is 58.
Any good immigration advice will help greatly.
Thanks,
Aseem Mal
canada is more open to getting families together. it may be much quicker to get them to cnada.
In my opinion Canada will be quicker than in the US. In the US medical coverage may also be an issue since they have not contributed to medicare, whereas in Canada they will be entitled to free coverage (after the 3m waiting period in ON).
