We are a successful Indian vegetarian home catering Service, located in Mississauga. We have had tremendous growth and now we propose to take a place on lease, and start a small take-out / eat in service. We will continue our catering service, which has made us immensely popular.
We did extensive research and found that there is room for a vegetarian restaurant/take-out business here. We have great culinary skills that appeal to huge strata of people in the GTA - Indians from North & South India, Sikhs, Orientals and native Canadians.
The flipside is our lack of capital. We have great culinary and management skills (one of the partners has an MBA, with 20 years experience in Sales & Marketing). We are looking for investors who want to share their vision in this ambitious project. We would like to spread the risk, and share the profits too, and this will appeal to individuals, who are interested in investing in the food industry.
Alternately, we would like to utilize the services of a consultant who specializes in government small business loans.

1. Your gross annual income from the catering business.
2. Your projected income from the "small take-out / eat in service".
3. Your requirement for financing and any security available.
4. Are you a Canadian citizen/PR? How long have you been in Canada?
As I see it you should be able to get the premises on a lease and be able to get an operating loan based on your personal credit history. Why are you looking for investors?

Thank you for your suggestions, but there are certain limitations to quoting figures on this forum. Based on a business plan, these figures can be discussed with any individual on a one to one basis.
As for your query about why we are looking for investors, we are looking at a fairly large investment, and we would like to share the rewards, as much as we would like to spread the risk. Besides, it is common to invite investors in the food industry here.
