My friend applied for PR in november 2005 at CHC New Delhi. PR was applied on behalf of his wife's name. He also have one daughter who is 5 months old. He had a 2yr diploma from a canadian collge (georgian, ontario). Now he want to transfer his credits to canadian univ so he can complete 2 futher yrs and get bachelors degree. This will also help him getting a job in canada when he will finally migrated. As he will have canadian education. But will CHC New Delhi grant him the student visa? I know its very difficult but considering his situation and request will they? He have following strong points in his favor,
1) He has 2yr canadian diploma (this is for your information that his canadian diploma is from georgian collge extended campus in chandigarh and not from canadian campus in barrie), and the credit can only be shifted to univ in canada for bachelors degree? and no Indian univ gives u credit for ur past post secondary diploma?
2) His wife, is doing MBA from a very recognized college in India and had allready completed 1yr. so she will be staying back home with his daughter. which gives him very strong family roots in India. and his parents are also living in India.
Please tell me do he have any his chance of getting the student visa?
