my parents immigration is in process and my father is the principal applicant. they had their medical done in oct 2005 and my father s medical was done ok without any problems. my mother sufferd frm TB 25 yrs back and she recovered successfully after 3 months treatment at that time in 1980s. she is not on any medication wat so ever . the doctor in new delhi asked her for sputum test and has asked her to visit in january 2006. can any one tell me whether or not she will be clearing medical .one more question is in case if her visa gets rejected can my father get the immigration or no . thanks in advance

Just relax. If she was treated OK in 1980s there should be no risk now.
Once treated properly it stays treated.
But I am surprised about 3 months treatment.
TB Treatment traditionally is of 24 months, now some doctors reduce it to 18 months. 3 months, to me, looks too short.
If not treated properly she should be suffering from evening fever, weight loss, cough, debilitation. It is better she gets sputum test from a TB Hospital and if positive for TB, start treatement immediately. If done rightly, her chest x-ray would be clear by January 2006. Let her take all this treatment from a good doctor. TB hospital doctors are normally very good at this.
