Hello,
I had applied for immigration in May 05 and received my file no and request to appear for IELTS in that month itself. Anyways, I had applied for IM by myself as I have graduated out here and also currently working under post grad work term. Now the problem is I had shown some work exp. of India in my IM file as I wanted to show 2-3 yrs work exp. I do have 14 months of work exp. out here which is from my co-op. well now the thing the work exp. of India is I had shown was like I was 17 yrs. Old. I even did not mention this will getting my student visa out in Delhi. Now I just came into this picture when one of my friend noticed it. So I want withdraw my file but still I think I will go with it. I don’t wanna have interview coz I am sure they will nail me down coz the work exp I showed is first of all I was 17 and secondly I didn’t mention to visa officer in India when applyin for visa. I don’t mind to rectify my mistake and withdraw my file and reapply it again I just don’t my file to jeopardize as I have worked freakin hard in this country like others to make a good living. Please suggest me something if I am doing the right thing.

Consult a proffesional and dont mess around as if they are not convinced and you are caught stating a lie you CANNOT apply for immigration to canada for 2 years and it would be a tough situation for anyone as you will always be watched with suspicion even after.

Sucess is not an accident it is a result of hardwork with intelligence.
thanks for yr reply. I would withdraw my file as i do not want to create any problem for my file. But once i withdraw can i reapply again and then they wont look behind any see my old file to dig in all stuff. i wont at all show my indian work exp just show what i have worked out here. plz reply
thanks
It maybe wiser for you to let the file stay in the process. Do not withdraw it.
If you had worked even at age of 17 yrs, and evidently as part-time ( in the afternoons or evenings, as you were studying in mornings) there is nothing to be ashamed about it.
Only option with them is to accept it as valid experience or not. If they accept it as valid experince they will award marks for it. If they find that part-time work at 17yrs is not valid for marks, they will ignore it.
There is perfectly sound reason due to which you did not disclose your part-time work at 17 years at time of student visa, you did not feel it was relevant for student visa.
