If using Canada as stepping stone - dont do it Go to Australia

For those who want to use Canada as step stone (with TN) to US best alternative will be Australia.
Why Australia
- Immigration Fast - 8 -12 months
- Passport fast - 2 years required
- USA Visa E3 work permit (better than H1 and I guess TN)
- Features - 2year permit - no limit on extension
- Husband and wife can work (unlike H1)
- No requirement to show your residency
- Annual limit 10,000 visas for Australians only
- Cheaper than H1 - only LCA required
-Drawbacks
-LCA required (what ever the 1st part of H1 process)
I am an Australian and I not a lawyer. So don’t ask me any questions on immigrations.
This is just another option for those people who are waiting forever to get Canada PR and Canadian Citizenship and aspiring to go to US
Best Strategy immigrate to Australia. Apply to Canadian PR immediately(will take < 2 years from there). Take your Australian passport and come to Canada.

There is no limit on the number of TN Visas.

I was thinking from time line point of view to get Canadian PR and Citizenship
What is the time line to get Canadian PR from India - I guess it is 3-4 years. Then Canadian Citizenship 3-4 years= Approx 8 years till you get a Canadian Citizenship
Australia = 3 years total - Saving for 5 years. In 5 years your whole can change
It is just another option( USA E3 for Australians started only last year and not may people know obout it)
