Hello
I have a question for immigraiton experts -
On contract basis, in order to bring Live-in-Caregiver from outside canada what income level seniors must have?
Thanks in advance

While not directly answering your question, let me tell you that the Live-in-caregiver program is not for Seniors alone - many young couples with very young children also qualify for this, since they are both working and need someone to look after children full time during the first few years, and later, on their return from day care centres.

Also, medical/health reasons for younger people is an acceptable criteria too.

Thank you Chandreshji.
My question was how much a person who hires the Live in Caregiver must have income. I understand, even young couples with the kids are eligible.
Since I am a senior citizen, in the process of hiring a Live in Caregiver, wanted to know the figure.
Thanks in advance.

This is Mr. Massood's column.
Till he replies...
You should be able to pay reasonable salary. That seems logical.
I have not come across any limit.
Any input on this would be welcome.
:)
