Hi,
Do people (mostly salaried) show much interest in investments on Stocks and Mutual Funds. The reason I raise this is, here in US I see lots of Indians show a great zeal on investment on either stock or Mutual funds including me but I don't hear in much from Canada related forums.
Any information to share about most attractive Stocks and Funds.
Though I haven't moved yet, still when it happens I am in serious considerations to put my money in Mutual funds instead of real estate which I prefer to defer for close to a year.

There was a brief discussion on investments under the Business section of this forum and the thread is titled, "Investment Club", I believe.
I keep most of my invesments in mutual funds based in Canada as well as in US. A lot of members provided discussion on stocks in India, although, I have no interest in investing in that for personal reasons.
But in general, Cdn mutual funds operate in a similar manner to the US funds. I started off researching TD Mutual funds and gathered a lot of info about types and performances of funds. There are many other institutions, similar to that of in the US, that offer mutual funds, retirement (RSPs) and non-retirement.
