IELTS preparation material

Can somebody suggest a good book for taking IELTS test? I bought one from Amazon for 45$ (Cambridge IELTS 4 Self Study Pack : Examination papers from University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Paperback)) but it consists of test papers only and nothing to help you prepare for the test. Although the test papers will be useful, I plan to use them after I have done some preparation.

Even though the test itself is very simple and straight forward, above material will help you strategize for the test.

I had bought a IELTS book of Cambridge which included a cassette also & the format of the test with couple of test papers. In 2004 I had purchased it for around Rs.600/-.

Please check up the IELTS website & buy the recommended material. I had not joined any institute, had gone thro' just this book.
