Here is one more event that proves some mosques are preaching hatred.
http://www.dailypioneer.com/indexn12.asp?main_variable=front%5Fpage&file_name=story4%2Etxt&counter_img=4?headline=In~Hyderabad,~violence~after~Friday~prayer
People coming from Friday prayers in Hyderabad resorted to pelting stones on some shops and other violence. Why do they do this? The Govt. of Andhrapradesh already passed a resolution condemning the cartoons and sending a message to EU and Denmark.
With this type of behaviour how can one think Islam is a peaceful religion?

Interesting article. Hope this thread does not end up into another senseless bickering among CD members.

Can't we all be human beings first and hindu, muslim, sikhs and christians later.
I feel blessed that I was not taught to hate somebody just because he did not belong to my religion. When I was a kid I looked forwrad to christmas sweets and eid kheer with same excitement as Diwali sweets. I should say I enjoyed Christams sweets and Eid kheer more as we did not have to toil in the kitchen to make it.
Today I can boast a Sikh family, srilankan tamil family, a muslim family and srilankan christian family as my close friends.
Life is short so celebrate life by celebrating diwali, christmas and eid. You will get 3 occasions to celebrate rather than one.
well said Lana2005. Human's have forgotten they are humans. It's all about being a Christian, Jew, Muslim, Sikh, Hindu, Buddhist............
All want to throw their thoughts on the other, forgetting everyone is different and has the same amount of right to do as they please. The problem is all hidden with the "Religion" word. Remove that from this universe and everyone would be happy.

That's a nice memory. I am a hindu, but when I moved here, the best help in settling down came from a Pakistan muslim guy and we are good friends since then. We don't base our life on repeating i am a hindu or I am a muslim or Indian or Pakistani. The only thing we care about is that we are both humans and are good friends.
I've had my share of good and bad experiences. But the choice rests on us. Associate with those who make you happy, glad and give you peace. Fanatics are found in each group, avoid them. Live with and like humans.
AS KABIR once said
Bura jo dekhan mein chala, bura na milya koi
Jo dil khoja aapna mujhsa bura na koi
Look inside you. are u any better by criticising everyone when maybe ur or someone of ur own religion/group does the same to someone else.
