Hi

I am looking for some good apartment rental websites specializing in aptts in/around Etobicoke & Mississauga.
Any good links will be highly appreciated.

Also, how are these areas to live (with a family):

-Dundas/Dixie
-Cwartha/Bloor
-Lakeshore/Hurantario

I find viewit.ca much user friendly, easy to use.

Out of those 3 location, i'd say Lakeshore/Hurontario the best. Not sure about the quality of the appts. ... but the locations is for sure the best. It's just few mins walking to the lake !
From public transportation point, dundas/dixie is really good.

My views, all 3 are petty much good places to live. I would suggest to visit these places in-person to have a better idea.
Lakshore/Hurontario is almost walking to port credit GO station.
And yea, those 3 are no way near to any subway stations.

One of my friends would like to rent her apt in North Etobicoke.....TRIDEL bldg overlooking Woodbine Race track...let me know if you are interested....you can get a good deal....it's 1 bdrm apt....brand new....

Hi Sumjo,
all the three area's are good to live but not sure about lakeshore/Hurantario for family.
As long as its convenient for your commute, grocessary and walk-in/pharmasy you are good to go.
I researched all the above 3 years and finally settled at Dixe/Bloor which is convenient for commute(subway/highways) and grocessry(Chinees store), family/child physicians and others
the most important for me as 2 washrooms for 2 bedroom apartment which is hard to get.
the price i was paying is 850$/month for first year for 2 bed/2washroom apartment.
