Hi Guys,
I have heard Jagjit Singh is coming to Vancouver in April 2006 for a concert. Any idea on whether he is also coming to Toronto? Any feed back on the same will be highly appreciated. I am dying to attend a Jagjit concert
Thanks in advance

I saw him in Roy Thomson hall last year. I wonder if he would come back again this year.
Strictly IMHO, his live concert are not as fun as his recordings are (can be applicable to most of the artists). He tries to compress all his ghazals into 3 hours programme. He sings more popular ghazals, while staying away from classical based ghazals. He did not sing any ghazals from "Mirza Ghalib"
I attended his concert for first time in Vadodara. Then I saw him again last year.
In his Toronto concert, he tried to mix his ghazals with popular Hindi film songs.
Even though it would be worthwhile to spend your $$s to see him live, his concerts do not touch your heart.

Thanks guys for responding to my post. Well Ive been listening to Jagjit since 1986(as a 12 year kid) to present. Still have the same passion when I hear his voice whether in a Serial Title song(Panchtantra, Intezar, Hello Zindagi,Manzil Apni Apni) or a Movie numbers(Sarfarosh,Joggers park, Umar recently). Well you obviously cannot match him with Adnan concert (he cannot jump or do rocky numbers like Adnan). He has his class of his own and after 20 years of listening to him I still find him fresh whenever I listen him. Hopefully he will come to toronto again soon..........
