I've used them, still have an account with them. Never really had an issue, it works good.

Hi!
We have had Savings, Line of credit, RRSP, RRSP-Mutual with them and it works really well. You can contact them 24 hrs. a day on the phone and once day we contacted them at midnight for them to send my summary of bank accounts (to be sent to india for visitor's visa for my in-laws) and they faxed it to my office fax at 8:45 am in the morning.
So i think even if they are virtual, things do work.

I have been banking with them for nearly five years now. Transferred money in and out of account numerous time, never had problems.

It is good for for xtra money that you may want to put away for a while . Not for day to day transactions . gives good rate of interest

Smiley,
For saving the extra money, ICICI bank is better. they give atleast 0.25% more interest than ING and they offer the same facilities for transfering like ING. Recently i opened a bank account with ICICI bank by putting $100. they gave me a $20 bonus. Since there was no cool off period, i transfered the money ($120) to my chequing account with TD and spent it.
Only ICICI's personal customer service is lousy.
