I checked websites of both ING and ICICI, they are offering 3% on savings account. I think a couple of months ago ICICI was offering higher rate of interest than ING.
In ING, when depositing, it takes 7 business days (2 days EFT+ 5 days hold) for funds to physically move from your bank to ING.

ING pays interest right from the day that your funds arrive meaning that you are paid interest even when your money is on hold.
I would say that ICICI may offer better rate of interest than ING in the near future (due to ICICI's lower overheads) and it may be wise to keep an ICICI bank account ready (what have you got to lose? Open with 100$ get 20$ bonus. is this offer still there?)

Sidenote : ING's Line of credit interest rates are much better when compared to the Big 5 banks.

(It took around 9 minutes to speak to an agent in call center at 6 PM.)

I faced this issue the first fe times. However, lately...it takes just 2-3 bussiness days. Moving funds from ING to my regular bank is what takes approx 7 days.
Nevertheless, never had any problems with ING...using them 5-6 yrs now.
