Hi All,

We are relocating to TO in the month of May 1st week.

My wife is expecting our first child in the month of August 1st Week.

We dont have OHIP coverage and believe that it takes 90 days.

The questions are :

1) Is their anyway to get OHIP coverage
2) Does OHIP or govt provided any kind of medical facility to people in our condition
3) Is there any private insurance company that would provide coverage
4) If all else fails what is the cost of Deleviry and post costs

Regards
SHubhankar

Cost of delivery is quite high in Canada and if it is C-Sec then it multiply it with three times.

Don't take the risk either land right now or come after baby is delivered.

Insurance companies do not cover pregnancy if baby is due within eight months of buying the insurance.

Hi,
Do not take risk.Delivery costs are high and if you need neonatal care for your child then you can expect a bill of $$$$$$$.
In USA cost is approx half a million for 2 months stay in hospital for neonatal care.
