A lot has been said about the Matrix, So thought of doing something about it.

Me along with my brother and and friend made a desi version of the movie.
It cost us 200 rs (cost of the pistols used) to make.

Editing was done on home pc while the movie was shot on a hand held camcorder.

Nice effort. Some slick editing in there.
I think if would have worked better if you included your take on one of the underlying themes of the 'Matrix'. e.g: a spoof of 'the one'. You know? rip into the plot a bit, instead of just the visuals.
I know, I know...it's only a trailer .

Dude, that's pretty neat. We need more desis doing this kinda stuff.

Neat editing. Maybe its me though, but I didn't exactly follow the story concept (Maybe I need to play Metal Gear Solid). Like Jake said, include your take on the Matrix theme, some sort of distinct desi-angle. I think the Bullet time effects have been spoofed enough already, but them coupled with a innovative "desi" theme would make this very interesting indeed.

Good stuff. Can't wait to see the never to be released "Desperate Measures".

hi,
just want to add, that this Disperate measures, is basically a trailor of a stage drama that we did at university. thought of making it as it ifs a movie and this is the trailor.

We didn't really planned to make a spoof of Matrix or any other movie, just a trailor on the similar lines in Rs 200.

We have also come out with a music video, shot in Switzerland, Britain, and France (will put the link soon for it).
