Was watching a trashy show about celebrity weddings. They said that Laxmi Mittal spent $60 million on her daughter's wedding. Kind of contradiction, that an industrialist from a developing country would be credited to having the most expensive wedding affair.

On a different note, this shows about celebrity lifestyle are a real trash. They are fun to watch when you have nothing to do and do not want to tax your mind. The language they use leads one to believe as if being rich is the only "cool" thing in the world, and that we middleclass people have nothing to live for in this world :D :p

One of the Indian bridal magazines "Asian Bride" has the wedding photos of Laxmi mittal's daughters wedding. Sadly.. I didnt think her outfit was anything special or unique.

Why do you feel its acontradiction? :)

Seems it does bother you so maybe they are right? If they are not then you and I have nothing to worry about and should not waste our time thinking about it should we :)? After all they are free to think whatever just as us.

p.s: I'm not picking on you...just taking a break from cleaning the home. :) ....got guests coming in for lunch on sunday.

Then the cake would go to Canadian style of wedding:
C$ 950 per head to every immigrant who comes into Canada and then this money is pumped to uplift the Canadian Economy.
Thanks Canada
Though each immigrant was poorer by C$950, we are really glad that this money went to improve and uplift our great canadian economy.

Hi TK,
I just wanted to say if these rich and upper class stopped spending, the economy might dip into a slow and stagnant cycle.
Just think how many jobs and services this 60 million dollar must have created for the next class, and subsequently further for the next class....Its a money flow cycle.
