Just yesterday and day before, I was reading that Salman Khan the "actor" is being convicted and being sentenced to 5 years imprisonment in the poaching case
NOT to mention his more serious "HIT & Run" accident case which is pending hearing..

I was happy to note that our Justice system back home is finally showing some signs of improvement with punishing and treating the "Big shots" and "Celebraties" at par with the common man.

something we rarely see or never seen before.

And today, I am hearing and reading news of Salman khan is proceeding with application for Bail and easing Jail sentence on the poaching case.

And most surprisingly and happily the court have accepted the bail application and there is a hearing on that,

http://www.samachar.com/showurl.htm?rurl=http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/articleshow/1487046.cms?headline=Salman~seeks~suspension~of~sentence

Now, I think he might be walking "free" again.

What a crap system we have.

Ofcourse this is not just limited to Salman khan but all "Celebraties" and "Big shots". we have seen all walking free

One of the many many reasons why we left India and decided never to go back.

I did'nt like this. His arrest and sentence to 5 years was good news from justice point of view. But I was'nt sure how long those "5 years" will last.
So from now onwards I am not going to view any of his films. I boycott movies that has his involvement :D

It took this for that to happen??? :D

I decided this based on some of the movies I did watch.

The Indian legal system and infrastructure is a JOKE!! There may be some good judges and lawyers who're not corrupt, but the system knows how to chew them up and spit them out.

Celebrities and big-shots can walk away with murder and there ain't a darn thing you can do about it. You want to fight the system? The only thing behind you is a cliff that you'll eventually fall off. Not even the people you're fighting for will support you.

:D :D .. I always considered him as a shaking, severing, yelling weird not-knowing-what-to-do type of creature.
I was'nt totally against his movies. But now I am.

Are you sure that Justice system is showing some signs of improvement and is not politically motivated?

Rememebr, Sanjay Dutt had the same fate because his father was a congressman and Shiv Sena was ruling Maharashtra.

If you and I can bribe a policeman, can't Salman do it to avoid jail sentence?

Substitute "Canadian" for "indian" and you'll find it still applies.

It irks me when I see articles in the newspaper like "dangerous sex offender released from jail. Police have assessed **** as very likely to re-offend. Umm.. YEAH so why is he out of jail??

I dont think canadian/american systems are entirely better.
