Hi CD'ers,

Can anyone suggest what I can use instead of pumpkin when making dhansak? I have a great recipe and it calls for pumpkin, but I can't find pumpkin anywhere in the grocery stores....any suggestions of what I can substitute it with?

Thanks Iceberg, not sure about zuchini.....or courgettes as I have come to call them...don't like the taste of that, but I'll try the butternut squash.
