The game is so commercialised now that there is usual dirty politics being played. Observed that the selectors are pushing for an unknwon guy by name VRV Singh from Punjab. The dude must have powerful connections or must have bribed the selectors big time. The captain and the coach are mere puppets. They have no say in the selection.

There is a discussion going on in cricket circles abt Kaif and Sehwag. They are in poor form. Sehwag has got into the comfort zone where he thinks no one can touch him despite scoring badly. He could be right.

The real issue is not Sehwag and Kaif. The real issue is Sachin. As people are afraid to target Sachin, as his God Father - Pawar, Mr.President of BCCI is there, they have to attack indirectly.

Look at what is happening to Mr.Big, Dalmiyaji!. He will spend more time in court and even might spend a few days in jail. Wait 'n' Watch, our old friend Tiger of Calcutta will be brought into be as a witness against Dalmiya and he would need to do that to continue his career.

Speech by Thomas Friedman of The New York Times....

"When we were young kids growing up in America, we were told to eat our
vegetables at dinner and not leave them. Mothers said, 'think of the
starving children in India and finish the dinner.' And now I tell my
children: 'Finish your maths homework. Think of the children in India
who would make you starve, if you don't.'"

Hmm...u got a point here.
Still IMO, Kaif and Sehwag need to be dropped for couple of matches. They will learn from their mistakes.

About Mr. Big, u made a very good observation. Never thought abt it in that way. Who knows Dada may be back in the team if things go as u have predicted.

Couple of mathes only? They should be out of international cricket till they prove themselves in the domestic matches.

I am sure this is going to happen sooner or later - we have to play about 15 ODIs before Worldcup and Indian can't afford not to find alternates before that.
