hi ,,, seniors ...

well i am a gulfee desi curently live in dubai ,,, i have been working here for a jewellery company retail and whole sale and have eight years experience ...
i am immigrating shortly ... so please if any one who is in the same field as me give me some advice on work conditions there .... like a sales job in a jew fir ... probably desi jew shops there ... and what sort of pay are we looking at there in this field there and availability.... pls help me out ... thnx ...

As i have seen,
Desi jewelery shops are the most pathetic shops that i have ever seen (In no way can it be compared to Dubai) and my guess is that the people who work there are minimum wage workers or family members. It is not worth to get a job there.
OTOH, There are some high value/ High end jewelery shops like the People's Place, Diamond something ( which sells diamonds in gold) and spence diamonds which may or may not employ you. I donot think that you can earn as much as you earn in dubai here but you may get more money if owned a gold jewelery busineess.
Just my idea and i am in no way connected to gold trade or any business.
