I saw lots of messages & topics on this forum which are all against the people who are returning back to India. Why?? Is there like a rule or something that if we take immigration we have to like Canada? I am seeing there are 2 groups here -
a) the people who love canada & those who are staying here.
b) the people who are unhappy about their decision of coming here.
Why can't we respect both parties? Both of the parties can be right considering their experience of canada.
We respect, life Canadian system, life for so many different reasons, we have learnt lots of good things to make some progress or our betterment.
I guess this is the time we all need to know how to stay out of other people's business.
I am constantly coming across the posts like 'why you people are still here?' 'why don't you go back?',' can I have the right date & time, when you are leaving?'
Respect other people's views & decisions, those are not coming into your ways of living your life here &/or wherever.

Speaking for the group that likes Canada, we fully realize the problems that immigrants face here and if somebody decides to go back to their native country, it is a decision that we all must respect. However, when we have people who are fixated on blaming Canada for each and every personal misfortune that have suffered, people who keep talking about going back to India (and claiming that it is "the only sensible thing to do" without actually ever doing so, it is them and their blatant hypocrisy that we have a problem with.

DT,
can you pin point any posts regarding your statement above.
All i know , what people say is :
1. We made a mistake of coming to Canada
2. We lost all money in the process
3. Life is hell in Canada when compared to life in India. It varies from people to people. For you life is rosy in USA/Canada. For me it is hell here in Canada and mostly better for me if i leave to India (of course people who support india donot care about traffic , sanitation, bribe problems b'cos it is not that much pain when compared to some favourable things)-Donot bring jasmeek in the picture
4. Jobs are harder to get here.
5. Maybe saving potential is more in India.
Just like you use both the facilities offered by USA/Canada to your advantage, what is wrong if some one takes the Canadian passport and leave? What is your beef/ peeve?

I have said it few times and will say it again that nothing is black or white as to India is good or Canada is good. India is good for some people and Canada is good for some people. So donot live somebody else's life. Live your own life, if Canada is good for you, live in Canada. If life is good for you in India, live in India. Live any palce that makes you happy and that does not mean live at aplace where you make a lot of money. Money is a means to achieve happiness but not happiness in itself. Happiness depends on lot of things.
Nothing is black or white, Canada is good in some aspects and India is good in some other aspects. So if I can, I would like to split my time between the two countries but I cannot do it now. Maybe, I can do it in future.
MR,
I am just writing the reality as i experienced. I can vouch that many architects feel the same thing in Canada but i canot vouch the same feeling for every engineer, social worker, history prof., IT guy and the list goes on.
It is upto CD members to accept what i have said, agree to what i have said or disagree. None of the rules/ experiences are set in stone. I donot see why you get upset as if what ever that i have said are legal laws. I repeat again. It is just reality as I see it. It canot be thesame for anyone else (esp. Non Architects).
