Hello,
I've got a problem I need a solution to quickly so I'm here asking for help.
I'm an Indian Citizen living in Toronto, Canada. I've applied for my PR card but don't have it yet. Otherwise my passport and Landed Papers are up to date. My job forces me to travel across the country. I have been working in BC for the past week and have been notified by my company that there is a job in Mexico that they would like to send me to. THe problem is how I can get through the US. I tried phoning the US consulate and no luck. I got through to a CIC agent and they told me that I don't need a valid PR card to re-enter canada AFTER Dec31 if I was driving back, which I will be. So there is no problem re-entering canada in the new year. I still need to be able to FLY down to MEXICO and then DRIVE back through the US into Canada around Jan 10. I don't think flying down to mexico is going to be a problem, however, will driving into the US from there be a problem? How do I get a visa from Mexico to US? Since this is work related do I still need to setup an interview at the US consulate? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never been to Mexico and would love to go. Also, I've been in the country for 29 years. I don't have my Canadian Citizen ship, long story, don't ask. Clean criminal record. Please help me.....
Thanks.
