Good Phone card for calling to India from GTA

Hi Guys,
Could anyone advice me about any website where I can purchase phone card for calling to India(From GTA) using my USA visa credit card.I tried with http://www.expresspin.com" rel="nofollow">LINK and they are asking for Canadian credit card and unfortunately I still not have anything as I recently move back from USA
I tried couple of desi cards but they are only good for one time use

HI Ani,

I appereciate your concern as I also faced this problem. I think we should use net-telephony for saving money. <net2phone> is a good option I feel.

You can call a company called G3 telecom. They accept US credit cards. Infact, they have a toll free line for US customers and the rate is flat 18 UScents per minute. Their local telephone no is 416-499-2121.

And while opening an account, you can give my reference since my wife works there!

I think Chandresh wife is not working there.
If you give his name he will get $5 credit to his account from
g3telecom.
This is a honest forum. Pls do not misguide people or try to benefit from them. It would be better if you said why he could give your name as reference. Sorry, but we are all immigrants and trying to help each other here.

Please remember Chandresh is a senior member in this forum and he has no intention to earn money by helping others.In fact he is sincerely trying to arrange for a regular get-together among desi members.So be careful in future before passing any harsh comment against someone in this forum

Sahib - Well you think - YOU DO NOT KNOW FOR SURE - that my wife is not working there.

When you wrote the posting, YOU WERE WRONG.

As of now, yes she is not working there anymore since she has finally got full time teaching job in York Board and she has resigned as of today - well not really resigned, but taken a month leave to see how she progresses. She does want to go back to that job only because she has made some very good Indian friends - by the way, G3 is owned and operated by Indians!

And Ani, thanks for showing the confidence in me. Yes, GG the owner of this site and some of us senior desis are meeting tomorrow to plan out the meeting on 10th.

Apart from that, I find G3 a good provider for calls to India and that is why I had recommanded it. I personally use G3 for India and Goldline for other international destinations because of some other advantages over G3.

And by the way Sahib, yes you are right that I can get $5 - but then if it does not cost you or other immigrants anything to get this service but earns me a commission, don't you think YOU ARE HELPING ME? - which is expected of you - as a user of this site?
